It was an 85 Honda CRX Si, a red sports car that is thrifty on Gas. It only had 155,000 miles, but the interior was pretty beat up. It didn't have a back seat, the other seats were torn, and the carpets were torn out. The guy was asking $1200, I probably could have talked him down to $1000, but I'd rather find a newer one in better condition. My dream car right now is a red '95 Honda Civic VX. It's a tiny five seater 2 door hatch back with a 1.5L VTEC-E engine. They get 54 MPG! And, they are still really quick. It's basically an older version of the new Honda Fit, except it gets better gas mileage. I barely missed one last weekend that sold for $3,000. There's one for sale around Orange County for $5,000 right now. It's a highly sought after car for racing and modifying. They like the bodies, and they can put all Japanese import parts on them, including high performance engines that are only sold in Japan. Also, the VTEC engine can be electronically adjusted on the fly for high performance or fuel economy.
I assume that would be in addition to Shifty. Somehow, it's hard to imagine you without him. Are you sure this little feather of a car wouldn't just fold up in an accident?
I'm not planning on getting rid of Shifty. He's just so expensive to drive any long distances. Also, I'm not so sure if he's going to pass smog this time around. He'll have to work really hard at it.
Oh, a small car probably would just crumple up in an accident. And, then I'd just have to get another car. ;-)
So, tell us about this car you didn't buy.

Well, we can't get another you, so choose a new car wisely. At least get one with surround-airbags.
